Elizabeth Wathuti (O.G.W, H.S.C) is a multi-award-winning Kenyan environmentalist and globally recognized young climate leader, honored with a Head of State Commendation for her leadership in environmental conservation. She is the founder of the Green Generation Initiative, which nurtures environmentally conscious communities through tree planting, climate education, and locally led restoration projects.
Elizabeth is a TIME100 Impact Award honoree and serves as a Commissioner on the Global Commission on the Economics of Water, contributing to research on valuing water as a global common good. She has been recognized as one of Africa’s most influential young people and Africa Green Person of the Year.
