Rich Wilson is the CEO of the Iswe Foundation and a specialist in democratic innovation who helps design systems that decentralize power and enhance collective decision-making. He works with governments and movements globally to reimagine democratic institutions that can support our collective thriving. This includes his current work with the UN to establish a permanent Global Citizens’ Assembly, empowering millions of people to contribute their voice to our planetary governance.

Rich previously led Involve, a leading international center for democratic innovation. An author, policy advisor to the UK government, and a recipient of the 2022 Democracy Network Equality and Power award, his career began as an environmental economist for organizations like the IPCC. He is focused on making sure the people have the power to create a sustainable future.
