Tiokasin Ghosthorse, a member of the Cheyenne River Lakota Nation, is an international speaker and advocate for peace, Indigenous perspectives, and Mother Earth. A survivor of the traumatic "Reign of Terror" on Lakota reservations, Tiokasin has dedicated his life to Indigenous activism. He is the Founder, Host, and Executive Producer of First Voices Radio, a long-running program broadcast across the U.S. and Canada. As a guest faculty member at Yale University, he teaches on Indigenous cosmology and the contrast between relational and hierarchical thinking. Tiokasin is also a master musician, performing worldwide at prestigious venues such as the United Nations and Lincoln Center, and serves on several educational boards.
