Hailing from Fiji Islands, Ashwini Prabha has over 20 years of experience in global communications and diplomacy across developed and developing regions, combining deep grassroots and spiritual insights with a strategic, cross-cultural approach.
Board roles with the Pacific Climate Action Network (Chair), Rotaract Pacific (President), and Listening Inspires International add valuable perspectives informed by time spent in Fiji, Palestine, France, and Switzerland. Expertise in justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with training in trauma and eco-anxiety relief, enable Ashwini to support resilient individuals and communities working on the nexus of environment and humanity. She nourishes her spiritual journey through the Art of Living Foundation, Zen Buddhism (ThickNathHaan’s mindfulness following) and various traditions.
Her work experience spans from supporting AOSIS negotiators to working for the Fiji government and CSO sector including WWF, 350.org, International Climate Action Network and Global Gas and Oil Network.
Ashwini is passionate about building capacity in the global majority, decolonising with empathy and being the change she wants to see in the world. She temporarily lives in France and pursues a sustainable lifestyle with her husband and two children in a small village.
