
Alex Evans runs Larger Us, which works with change-makers to explore ways of bridging divides and bringing people together, especially by drawing on psychology as a source of ideas and inspiration.
He is a Professor in Practice at Newcastle University, a Senior Fellow at New York University's Center on International Cooperation, and the author of The Myth Gap (Penguin, 2017), a book about the power of deep stories to unlock transformational change.
Alex has previously worked as a Campaign Director at Avaaz, as a climate expert in the UN Secretary-General's office, as Special Adviser to two UK Secretaries of State for International Development, and with think tanks including Brookings in the US and Chatham House in the UK.
